in which my precious baby makes me proud

I’ve been busy recently, first with midterms, then final projects, then dealing with a stolen debit card, and this perpetual malaise/fogginess/exhaustion I hope to look into/take care of when I go home in September.

As Mother’s Day has gone, I can post a picture of the finished Nine-to-Five Socks.

I also completed my Kernel earlier this week.

It seemed to fly by, and required the perfect amount of attention so that I could knit it during lecture/seminar without wanting to scream. I used up a whole 125 gram skein on this scarf, making it just over 8″ wide and over 7′ tall. The colours are deliciously bright, and the whole thing is positively delightful. I’m wearing it as I type.

This may be the thing I’ve knit that I’m most proud of, though I’m not quite sure why. Do things you’ve made make you proud?
